The EPB Emergency Push Button Turnstile Release Kit provides a simple, reliable method of immediately unlocking multiple turnstile lanes during emergency situations or controlled building evacuation.
Designed for optical turnstiles, speed gates, waist-high turnstiles, and other electronically controlled pedestrian gates, the EPB kit sends a simultaneous release signal to every connected lane, allowing free egress in the exit direction with a single push of the button.
Each kit includes a high-visibility push button housed in a protective enclosure and the appropriate relays for the number of controlled lanes.
The EPB kit integrates with most access control systems and can be incorporated into fire alarm interfaces or emergency evacuation systems where permitted by local codes and project requirements.
Commonly installed at security desks, reception areas, guard stations, and building exits to provide centralized emergency release of turnstiles.
