The EntraPASS KT-TR1675 Wire-In Transformer is a reliable power solution for KT-Series Controllers within an access control panel assembly. Designed to integrate into your security infrastructure, this transformer ensures uninterrupted operation and optimal performance. Compatible with the KT-400 (110V AC/16.5V AC (75 VA), UL approved).
KT-400 transformers are available as a wire-in (KT-TR1675) OR plug-in (KT-TR1670P); select the transformer type that accommodates your installation preferences. Hardwired or wire-in transformers are installed directly into the electrical system. This typically involves connecting the transformer to the panel’s electrical wiring using electrical cables. Wire-in transformers are often permanently installed within a control panel or junction box, providing a secure and stable power source. Alternatively, plug-in transformers are designed to be plugged into standard electrical outlets.
For an access control system setup, pair the KT-TR1675 Transformer with a PS4085 Power Supply and a KT-BATT-12 Battery. Then, together with your KT-400 Controller, connecting cable, and cabinet housing, you’ll have the back-end foundation for connecting access control readers.
