These units have the motor and doors removed, allowing the passage to be ADA compliant in width and to be mounted on existing power locations.
The optical sensors on the passages perform reporting, alarm, and redundant count functions, used with EntraPASS Global Edition Software.

Redundant Count Sensors
Sensor barriers are designed to detect the passage direction, protect the users, and detect illegal passages. Optical turnstiles typically have multiple IR Infrared sensors, invisible barriers that inform the MCP module about the user’s location in the passage lane. These can include anti-crush sensors in the middle, and also direction, safety level, and operation mode sensors.
A Redundant Count Sensor system can be added to provide a secondary occupancy count at the customer’s request.
With EntraPASS, this information and other reports can be collected and emailed daily.
